Alilea/Poleho Lei 30"
Shells were picked from two islands, Ni'ihau and Hawai'i. The Poleho was picked on the Hawai'i island and the Alilea was picked on Ni'ihau.
This pieces is tied in Kipona Style which is a repeated pattern of patches of different shells.
Measures at 30-inches long.
Closed with two Poleholeho (Bumpy Cowries) with a hook and eye clasp.
This piece contains less than the minimum amount allowed to be called Ni'ihau shells, accordance to the H.B. No. 2569, thus this lei is NOT a Ni'ihau shell lei.
